Liner sheets are typically 0.8 mm thick , solid color , matt finish , basic looking laminates  are used for applying on surfaces that are usually hidden and not visible. Such surfaces could be inside of wardrobe or kitchen shutters, inner side of bed box etc. Liner sheets also help in preventing bending of shutters. Blockboard or plywood might start bending over a period of time if laminate is applied only on the visible surface. Liners when applied on the hidden surface , counters the pull of the external laminate and keeps the structure of the shutter intact. Liners also provides a clean surface for the hidden areas in furniture and at the same time saves cost as these are much less expensive than typical laminates.
