Metallic Laminates are essentially metal foils or skins pasted over the core of the laminate. The difference between typical decorative laminate and metallic laminate is that the look & feel in the former is achieved by pasting a decorative paper over the core while in the latter its achieved by pasting a metal foil. Hence metal laminates are significantly expensive than other laminates. Metal laminates come in variety of finishes ranging from , silver , brass, gold etc and in multiple textures. Typically metal laminates are used on vertical surfaces to create an accent or a highlighted surface.
