Colored body digital tiles are the latest edition in the vitrified tiles product category. As the name suggest these tiles have two special features - Digital Surface Design & Coloured Body or Core .

Surface design of these tiles is digitally printed. In digital vitrified tiles the designs are printed on the top surface of the tile using inkjet printing making it possible to create wide variety of high quality & vivid surface designs. 

The core of these tiles is what differentiate it from other tiles like Double charged or regular digital tiles. In normal tiles the core or the body is ceramic and only the surface has a layer of design. Thus if you cut a tile or the tile surface gets chipped, the core is visible. However in the coloured body vitrified tile, the core also has the same colour or pattern as the surface. Thus even if the surface gets chipped or scratched, it is not very evident as the underlying surface is of the same colour and pattern. This homogenous characteristic not only makes the tile superior in terms of aesthetics, it also gives it higher strength as comapred to most other tile categories. In terms of the property of its core , it is quite similar to full body vitrified tiles, with the only difference being that due to vitrification of the entire body, full body vitrified have more strength and endurance that allows them to be used in outdoor areas as well.
