WHAT ARE FULL BODY VITRIFIED TILES ?

In Full Body Vitrified Tiles, a process is used due to which the design is not merely on the top surface but is embedded in the entire tile. So in that sense it’s like granite. If you cut the tile into two, the sliced edges will have the same pattern as the top surface. These tiles are useful if the intention is to use them in counter tops or stairs treads and mould the visible edges. Also the chipping of surface or corner is not clearly visible since the surface below the chipping also has the same design pattern as opposed to soluble salt or double charged tiles where if the top finishing layer is chipped, the base becomes visible making the damage evident and vivid. In addition to the design, the entire body of the tile including the core is vitrified making the tiles homogenous in composition and thus giving it high strength, abrasion & absorption resistance  and load bearing properties. Hence full body vitrified tiles are a very good option not only  for high  human traffic areas but also outdoor use and as parking tiles.
