Nano Polished Soluble Salt ( SST ) tiles are soluble salt vitrified tiles finished with a protective layer of nano polish.

Soluble salt tiles are the oldest technology tiles present in the market today. These tiles have a 1 to 2 mm thick finishing layer screen printed over the body of the tile to give it the required color and pattern. Soluble salts are used in this process hence the name. These tiles typically have a single shade, are the most economical ones and are suitable for light or medium traffic areas as the surface is cannot stand heavy abrasion. The surface of soluble salt tiles have micro pores that absord dust and liquids making the surface susceptible to stains. Nano Polish is a thin protective layer that,  when applied on the surface of the soluble salt, fills up the pores there by making it stain resistance. Nano polish not only provides a protetective layer to the surface of the soluble salt tiles but also provides a glossy sheen finish to the surface thereby enhancing the look and feel of the tile.
