Parquet Tiles are essentaillay wooden mosaic tiles that are made from joining thin strips of solid wood ( sometimes laminated wood as well ), into designer patterns like herrinbone, basket weave etc. This technique allows creation of interesting patterns and at the same time retaining the natural look & feel of wood. Its a very old technique but still gives a very warm and elegant look to the floor.
