In common market practice, tiles are categorized into following categories based on levels of moisture absorption:

  • Ceramic Tiles : Moisture absorption > 3%
  • Porcelain Tiles  : Moisture Absorption 0.08 % - 3%
  • VITRIFIED TILES : Moisture Absorption < 0.08%
